I see Widdop is looking to return from his shoulder op this weekend. With the Dragons in real danger of not making the play offs I wonder whether we are working to bringing him over to the club early.

There would be room on the cap if the Atkins rumours are correct and the fact we got dispensation for Kev Browns salary.

If Gaz came over at the end of the NRL season he would arrive ahead of the Leeds Rhinos fixture on the 13th September.

What a boost this would be to the squad ahead of the play offs.

True but can't see them letting him go unless they are mathematically out of the running. I'm not sure that will be the case by the August 9th deadline as there will still be 5 games of the season left.

Could we still not register him in the hope they don't make the PO's?

I’d rather he didn’t even if he could.

Let him have a proper long off-season and get himself 100% for us next season.
