Whoever gets a run out they’ll have to dig deep for the full 80 as saints don’t let up , mental toughness and resilience will play a big part in coming away with a respectable scoreline .As long as they give their all we can’t ask for anymore and don’t roll over and give saints it on a plate .
14. Arona Green 15. Battye 16. Pitts B Walker 17. Wood/Crowther
Experienced bench that and no players out of position. Considering who we have put that’s a pretty good line up!
I've made a couple of changes to your lineup based on what I think is more likely, but as you say it's not a bad lineup and against someone other than Saints you'd fancy us to give them a game. Sadly I just can't see us getting anything out of it and I might actually be tempted to give Croft or Greensmith a bit of match time.
Well if we can show the same commitment and put the same effort in as this makeshift Leeds outfit against Wigan tonight it will speak volumes of the squad that go head to head with saints, and give us fans some hope going forwards

Leeds have plenty missing in their backs but their pack is pretty strong, with 2 decent options at 9. Wood coming back should help us make some extra yards but, we need Saints to be off their game and for us to somehow be on ours. Arundel and Kershaw on the left side with Hampshire at FB seems most likely but, our forwards playing for the full 80 is key.

Agree wrencat Leeds did still have some fire power up front and their hookers were impressive throughout the eighty .Thought collectively they put on a good performance, as I was hoping for a thumping that credit to Leeds never materialised, but then again I don’t think Wigan were firing on all cylinders and have players out themselves. If I was some of the Leeds old guard who weren’t playing I would be looking over my shoulder at the youngsters coming through as some will be pushing for starting spots in the very near future on last nights performance .Hope we can go some way to mirror that effort and commitment at saints tonight .
