I think both you and WQ make good points. What I think we can agree on is the way we did business last season was unforgivable and we appear to have learned from that, although not perhaps all the lessons we should have and perhaps not quickly enough. After one and a half seasons of PT we appear now to have a reasonable sized, decent squad that should be top half of the league. Now we need to sort out fan engagement and expanding crowds. |

I am the biggest advocate for London products playing for London but based on evidence the odd one or two are SL standard, a few more are Championship standard and a lot are League 1 standard. So it depends what our aspications are. Two points 1) if they enhance the side then get them on there 2) the London junior league is contracting year on year, so at some point the conveyor belt will become a trickle |

I'd rather we were in SL with 17 aussies and 5k fans than in level 2 with 500 at best.
Then again, I'll drink £5 red wine because it's wet rather than £25 bottles because of the label.....it comes down to taste and seeing our decline over the Hughes years has been an exercise in pain management as a fan. |
