Let’s hope he’s a bit of a find, no NRL games played looking at his profile…

I thought Pilate had "weleased" him.
He'll soon be a wong doer.

*Rodrick, not Roderick. Signing someone who hasn't even got NRL experience, doesn't bode well. Another load of 'YouTube' highlights maybe?

Why can’t we unearth any hidden gems they cry…who is this no mark they cry.

Inexperienced or a gem, either way, he’s scored more trys and made more meters at the HJ than some Wire players have done all season.

Happy with this myself, PNG players love to play and a 12 month contract is the ideal "shop window" for him to burn it up & land himself a tasty NRL contract......plus I doubt he'll be on mega backs, so rather him than a "star" over here to top up his pension.

I'm happy to see how this plays out... Question now is whether there's another centre incoming or whether it's King being given a chance again

The Queensland cup is probably still a higher intensity than the current Super League. While we can't be certain that Tai will be a success, my betting is that he'll give a good return for his much smaller salary than most of our recent centres. Who was the last centre we were happy with (apart from Wrench's occasional appearances)? Goodwin?
