Pies 32 - TWP 10

Moral victory TWP.
Wigan twice Wigan beating teams with 12/11 men.

For 60 min TWP were in this.

Brian Mc talking to the cameras too. That is a change of practice from him. He like TS hated it.

Very ordinary from Wigan but they do this every year it seems. Toronto full of effort but they're struggling for bodies in round 3. Will be a long season for them at this rate.

Are Toronto going to have enough players on the field next Friday?!
Wilkin dropped out before kick off, can see a possible ban for one of their players.

Is there a sense of TWP creating injuries to an already depleted squad to force the authorities to allow them to increase the player roster?

Glad I have booked to go to Toronto this year, next years trip looks like it could be a non super league game.
Thought they played really well but London last year who won 10 games and went down. with their squad size 10 wins looks a long way off and I don't currently see anybody worse.

Toronto seem to have a squad of only 23 players from what I can see (including Gary Wheeler), that looks to be taking a punt on having few injuries. One disadvantage for them is the fact that they don't seem to have any juniors to bring through and take up a bit of the slack. If you were one of that squad I think you would worry about being asked to play when injured or still recovering.

I think Toronto have dropped a clanger throwing money at SBW with the net result that they have a very depleted squad.

Even if Williams recaptures the form of yore, which I doubt, he is going to be surrounded by patched up, beat up lightweights. I still think they may do enough at home to scrape some wins together but with Hudds and HKR looking solid, it's between Toronto, Salford & Wakefield (probably regret that Sunday 5PM) for the wooden spoon.

As for Wigan, very poor. Nothing to see here and nothing, absolutely nothing to concern ourselves over.
