As you may or may not be aware Wire FM's coverage of Warrington games came to a close with the defeat last night.

Thanks to everyone who has listened over the last six year, thanks for all the bad comments which made me strive to get the good comments.

Sadly the scope of local radio is changing and to be honest it isn't for the better and that's a decision which hasn't had my involvement.

It's been a great pleasure of mine and Rob's to bring the games to you. There's been some memorable night and some forgettable ones as well.

Thanks again

Matt
Move on, nothing to read here.

I have enjoyed the coverage on Wire FM many times down the last few years and the internet coverage is a godsend for those of us who live a long way from home. It has always been good quality coverage too with decent respect for both teams in the respective match (better than on, ahem, certain local BBC stations). Thanks for your efforts and best wishes for the future.

Depends what you're looking for.

Burgess, Ellis and Thaiday for strenth and being a nother prop.

If you want the whole package then Lockers is the best right now.

gutted to be losing the Wire Fm coverage. As someone who lives outside of the town (Brackley, Northants) your commentary on the games has been a godsend! Thanks for bringing us the games over the years, you'll be missed!

Thanks Matt & Rob for your coverage. I have even listened to games while in Australia thanks to t'interweb. No doubt back to the good old BBC for fragmented commentary now.

WireFM as local radio....no local studio, no local news, no local sport....

Best of luck to Matt and Rob for the future
