I know it's not until March, but I'm planning on making the trip over to Toulouse for the first time and was hoping someone could give me a bit of advice on whereabouts to locate myself in Toulouse i.e. somewhere that's not a million miles away from the stadium but is near enough to the city for a meal out and a bit of sight seeing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I’d personally avoid the city centre if you're not going over to party and spend time sitting in the many bars.
The main part of the city is the Jeanne D’Arc which has all the main bars, restaurants and shops.
The Melting Pot is the Irish/English bar where most supporters go to drink and watch the Sky Sports Super League games. It is located on the Boulevard.
The average price of a pint is around €7 with many bars selling the same pint for €4 during the happy hours of 4pm and 8pm.
From the Centre to the ground you can either catch the tram or bus to the stadium. Both take around 15/20 minutes.
The Tram is the service to Meett and the bus is the Red Line T2 with both costing the same €1.80 fare.
We are going via Eurostar and SNCF this year. We managed to get a really good offer for £101 return. Eurostar currently have a sale on at the moment.
Leave Bradford at 7.57am arriving into Toulouse at 6.37pm.
