Clear out - start at top : Fri Mar 25, 2016 4:11 pm
Taking nothing away from a decently drilled Wigan but this is symbolic of years of under performance by our once great club

KC - out if depth . Roby in bench? My ass
Rush - what value does he add?

Cheap coach and and CEO based on years of cheap recruitment means mid table this year and potential middle 8s or worse to come.

Eamon - please make changes and save our future

Off for a lie down....

I'd go even higher with the clear out. McManus always promised he'd depart when the stadium was built. He did an Arsenal and traded successful and fun for solidity and got the ground done. Now on your bike sunshine, take Rush, KC and Wello with you and let us have our club back. We were always the mavericks, not the public sector tax accountants we'e become. McManus doesn't care one dot about winning trophies, he's got all he needs in the next decade and won't try for more. You won't see players being signed left, right and centre like Warrington have done for 10 years in pursuit of trophies and you won't see us winning a trophy in the next 5 years at least.

Bit harsh on Mcmanaus. It's a bit like chelsea ditching abramovich because the shakes of man city have more cash and jack walker of Blackburn gets
put to one side because he doesn't have the cash.

He's brought (Mcmanaus) some of the best times a club and fans could ever wish for. What ever happens, you guys should never forget what
he's done for you. Same with Simon Moran for us. We still haven't won a GF yet but by heck we really appreciate what he's done for us. Even if we win
bognor Regis, I will always appreciate and respect what he's done for our club.

It's a bad run of games. Nothing more.

Besides, it's not like the very same weren't, at some points, a feature of even the most celebrated RL coaches' records.

Irrespective of whether I like the results or the way we are currently playing - I'm certainly not going to desert someone who has EARNED the right to have a statue erected in his honour directly over the ground's entrance.

The idea that you can somehow separate Cunningham the coach and Cunningham the player is precisely the kind of sophistry which makes lawyers universally loathed.

Sure, no coach has the right to keep the job forever. But it's going to take a hell of a lot more than this to make me think about throwing the towel in on a player whose achievements will echo through history long after we've been and gone.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Of course you can separate the two.

I don't think the contract extension has helped. If people thought that he had to the end of the season they may have been more generous. But since the contract was signed it seemed to turn fans into being more urgent calling for him to go.

It's a shame really as without the contract extension it would have been an experiment that did not work. With a contract extension there would have to be a sacking or a mutual parting.

With so many old heads around the place would changing just the coach make enough of a difference?

Mugwump mocking mental illness for a second time -

"You are mentally ill and I can't indulge your madness any more"

Utter disgusting abusive remark from a keyboard warrior

Run of bad games? We've not played well all year. In fact we are the most boring team in super league and when we play decent teams we will struggle big time.

We beat a depleted hudds team. We beat a cas team which lost 3 players in the first 20 mins. We beat a awful Wakey team ams still played awful rugby. We struggled against injury ravaged hull KR side and if Kelly stayed on we would have lost. We was embarrassed by a roosters side thst i don't think have won a game this year.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Don't think so, bad coaching, no structure and too many "projects" in pivotal positions. For some reason we are one of the dumbest teams in super league with a defence that only lasts 20 mins per game.

Whooa steady up...a bit strong suggesting passionate fans are spitting the dummy out and being prococious because Cunninghams not up to it(re:your sophistry remark). On the contrary,I think pure pragmatisim, they are commenting to whats being served and who is directing this dogs dunner.Your appealling to sentimental and nostalgic times of invincibility e.g 2006 and what that statue represents. We arent knocking it down ,but its 2016 and times stink at Saints you cant possibly disagree?.Yesterday that was THEE worst stint of clulessness ive seen Saints with 2 sets 10-5 metres out ,they werent expecting the ball, not looking, dropping ball, pass the parcel with absolutely no direction.
That mug has got to fit fairly and squarely on Cunninghams shoulders and you have to divorce the magnificent player from the poor coach statue or not.queen victorias got a statue in town centre but she was a miserable old git.
