I'm not that knowledgeable on religion. Does an amount of time have to pass before a knight of the realm can become sainted?. Cos I think I might know a candidate. What a bloke.
I think Sinny jumps straight over Saint to “Deity”. You are totally right top top bloke. No one could do more for his great friend. Everyone I have shared the link with who do not follow RL have commented and promised to donate. I cannot imagine what it is like to have the honour of being able to say KS is a friend!
How disingenuous, the planning, the training, the love that that man has put in for a friend and colleague is beyond comprehension. If you see this as a starter run (baffling) please let us all know when you put £ 1.5,000,000+ in to the fund. I personally will thank you as I'm sure most on here will.
Bizarre comment, the fact he isn’t a marathon runner makes the achievement greater, no?
not really - someone on facebook got shouted down for posting that he regularly runs marathons , it's a great achievement but a fraction of the record of 93 in 95 days female - what should that person be awarded ?? or 401 male ? the sahara race is 4 in 4 days ---
It's a remarkable thing of friendship and achievement
is ollie holmes bike ride a more physical feat but not getting the bbc baclking?
be nice for him to be a genuine sir but he's a beginner in ultra marathons
There’s always one......
Super effort, super bloke, super outcome. Couldn’t be prouder of our wonderful club and the folk involved - and whilst I know Sinfield won’t have done this for (or like) all of the attention and personal praise he’s getting, he absolutely deserves all of the plaudits, of both his physical achievement and his character.

You go run 7 marathons in 7 days and tell us how it was when you're done. And I don't want to know if they aren't all under 7 hours. And whilst you're doing it imagine one of your closest and older mates, who you've been through wars with, is dying from the most horrible of diseases. And how the eyes of the world are on you. Good luck
