Wasn't there something in the press this week suggesting he was staying?

Agar said it's up to Myler. I Fully expect him to leave. We need him to go to free up useful cap space

Agreed. KR have no halves with loss of McGuire, Atkin and Drinkwater.

This would be a very interesting move and possibly a good one.

I had similar thoughts re trying Myler at 9. I think he's been made a bit of a scapegoat to be honest. Yes he hasnt set the world alight at 7, but for the majority of his Leeds he's been alongside project players at stand off, usually behind a beaten pack. May be this is a solution.

Myler has taken a lot of flack, even Agar has admitted as much but he is a hard worker and I think he has a good attitude, I'm not overly fussed if he decides to see out his contract but I suspect he will try get a decent 3 year deal from another club, either the promoted club or Hull KR.

He has never been an organising half throughout his career so it's a bit unfair to have a go at him for not fulfilling that role

Not for me. He would get run over defending in the middle.

I totally agree with this. We have exactly the player we signed, he was never going to suddenly be a great organiser.

Out of interest, and due to a lack of memory, did we sign Myler to play with Mags or was it already known Mags was going? It would make sense if we had signed him to play with Mags who would have done the organising.
