| Hay saying on twitter nothing more to report as it stands... nothing new from last week. 49ers still want it done and want it done quickly... sounds like Radrizanni holding it up to me.

| Radz needs to find the cash for Sampdoria's creditors by 20th June (I think), so he needs this deal done as much as we do.

Looking at betting,
Corberan is 2/1 fav (i actually thinks hes a bit of a gamble more i think about it)
Gerrard second fav 11/4
Farke 7/2 (he's come in the odds out of nowhere the last couple of days)
Flores 5/1
then Bowyer, Rogers, Parker 12/1
Potter/Iraola 16/1
Corberan was 33/1 a week ago.
i'd love it to be Roger personally. Althetic reporting 49ers will increase spending significantly this offseason to try get back up first time of asking. Phil Hay saying it's nearing white smoke time..

| Farke has been linked since he left Gladbach last week. He wouldn't be my choice, but preferable to Parker or Gerrard.

| I`m not sure on Corboran as I don`t think he`s experienced enough and once again we are going back to the Bielsa love in.
Farke absolutely not and the same goes for Bowyer and Viera.
Moyes, Rodgers or Potter but doubt they would drop down a division.
The guy at Ipswich did a good job as did Robins.
But again do they have the balls to cope with the expectation of our fans?

| Personally i wouldn't write off Gerrard as a manager yet, he's not the one i want don't get me wrong and i think he would have a job on winning fans over, but i wouldn't write him off. He was very good at Rangers, he will have learnt a lot at Villa from his mistakes there. He's a big name too and would attract better players.
However..... whichever manager we bring in, I want to see us playing good possession based high pressing football, i think most of us do... and i think it's what good Leeds sides have done over the years.
Agree with Chapy re Corberan, but i would back him, i'm just not convinced a lot of fans realise he doesn't play anything like Bielsa.

| Exactly. The Villa players hated him by the end as well.
Even his success at Rangers wasn't all that. Yes, he won the league, but he was up against Neil Lennon's Celtic, and lost in the cups to St Mirren and St Johnstone. Even Van Bronckhorst got further in the Euorpa league the following season.
Corberan is relatively experienced compared to the likes of Gerrard and Parker. He's punched above his weight at Huddersfield, and he did a great job at one of the biggest clubs in the league in West Brom. He isn't Bielsa, but that's good. His teams are fit, solid and hard to beat, and keep the ball really well, and attack with pace.
I'd want Rodgers ideally, but realistically, Corberan is the smart choice.
