Leeds would be my guess.

I doubt a player as Quality as Maloney would just go "Yeah lets leave and go to the UK as a stand in player for a season" We don't need him so leave him be.

They have only just started the season with their marquee players Merrin and Hurrell.

So they would need to pay one of them off in order to sign a new marquee player.

I think Maloney wage demands would be at a marquee level, so it would be possible for Leeds to sign him, but it would be very expensive.

Merrin is already talking about going back to the nrl, wouldn't surprise me if he leaves at end of the season, or before even.
