Patton won't be here next year. Not with Widdop here and Austin. if he is though is says a lot about him as a person, he should want a starting spot and he won't have that next year.

To be honest whilst I like Maloney I feel that Widdop and Austin with Ratchford having freedom at the back is the way to go.

I'd like to think that as a club who lost a starting half due to injury (and have weakened squad, and have deregistered salary cap space up) would be looking at all opportunities to restore the squad back to the 2019 plan.
