Drinkwater confirms Catalans exit
Josh Drinkwater will leave Catalans Dragons at the end of the season after what he describes as a six-moth rollercoaster ride in France, report League Express.
The Dragons signed Drinkwater in April on a deal until the end of the season and has impressed since his arrival. However, Catalans have agreed a deal with Matty Smith for 2019 and there will be no place for Drinkwater in Perpignan. He told League Express: “I don’t think I’ll be staying here. For one reason or another, things haven’t worked out so I’ll be moving on.”

Wigan dumped Smith & couldn't believe their luck. Now Saints have got away with it. If McBanana can turn Smith into a SL SH he should try water to wine next.

I think we have made a very big mistake if this story is true.Drinkwater is no Dureau ,but Smith is a very limited player .Without Drinkwater we would definitely have been in the bottom 4 .
