| After last night, things are getting clearer....
Drinkwater clearly isn't working alongside Mags. Whilst most would say drop Drinkwater (which I tend to agree) one must be dropped to let Atkin start at HB.
Lee is very slow at the ruck and offers little creativity.
Discipline has become a big issue and refs will now start looking for any infringement.
We are badly missing Lunt for his leadership.
All but the last are fixable by changing the team and hopefully Lunt will be back soon.
On the flip side, the forwards are doing OK, Mitch Garbutt has been immense, Masoe is playing very well etc. Dagger and the centres are doing well.
Fingers crossed none of the injuries from yesterday are bad.

| After two years we’re finally starting to use Mose near the line I was critical of him in the first couple of weeks but he’s stepped it up Drinkwater has to be dropped for his own good Dagger is playing well but discipline is killing us

| The losses away at Cas and Warry most probably expected? The forwards have generally gone ok but no direction from hooker and 6&7. The players getting cards/bans for gubbing off has to stop even though I sympathise to a degree. The defence needs ramping up a fair few notches. After watching Wakey last night we have a seriously tough task next week and probably few players out. Expect a bumming there but the Catalan game is getting like a must win job

| Wakey are looking like 5th if they carry on how they are, that might change but its early days, 1 swallows does not a summer make an all that.
Next weeks game could be a real tight affair, HKR have a lot going for them and barring injuries, are the type of team who can click on the day and take the thing.
Wakey and HKR are a lot like each other, over recent seasons Wakey have played better more often but that counts for nothing on the day, HKR are well capable of causing trouble, couple that with a Wakey clunk instead of a click and that'll be that.

| I will agree that our half’s are not firing but what do we do? Drinkwaters starting to get to know the rest of the team, him & Maguire are just on different pages of the script, would Atkin be any better? I think it would be worth a look as he will be our future leader in the coming years as Maguire will be gone next year & will Drinkwater want to stay if asked? I would hate to loose Atkin by not playing him. The rest of the squad is settling into the season ok & as we have seen there is room for improvement. The one thing I don’t get is the constant harping on on this forum about Tommy Lee, is he just the latest duty scapegoat? I don’t think anyone expected him to come here & become man of steel but he is doing the job that’s asked of him, he brings a calming influence on the park & is to use a much misused expression a utility player who is competent in a few positions with a football brain to match.
I am happier with this season than I was last, not expecting much more than 8th just building the squad & hope to go into 2020 season with little disruption to a settled squad.

London would have turned anybody over that day it was it was bound to happen and what did they have to lose, they simply had the desire - we really weren't that bad we just weren't that good either and we just couldn't cope with the enthusiasm on the day. Maybe Saints and Warrington might of I don't know but most others would have bitten the dust to a greater or lesser degree.
It was hard to bare but we've done the same to better teams throughout our SL tenure so can't complain.

Not really mate come on, I'm not knocking HKR but I think they would have preferred the last two top 5 finishes we have had - I know what you're trying to say but there is modesty and then there is over doing it and its a little disrespectful to our players.

I suppose it depends how long you want to go back really since you were in the million pound game you’ve gone from strength to strength whereas we are the only club to have been in the middle 8s every season throw in a relegation and promotion plus a Wembley drubbing you have had 5 pretty consistent seasons and we havent
