For the club to get the deal done so early in the season makes me think the rumours about him leaving were correct.

I know he was on the radar of at least two championship clubs, so well done to the club for securing Jason for a further three years.
He is one of the most consistent performers in the squad, and losing a player of his ability would have been a big blow for all concerned.

Hopefully we can add more players of Jason's calibre to next years squad and be a genuine threat for promotion, as I feel York and Bradford are nailed on this year.

They deserve it ... but the two are not the same.

Bradford are going to win automatic promotion and I wouldn't back against York playing at home in the play-offs.

If...……... and its a big if ,we do qualify for a play-off spot we will have pulled a rabbit out of the hat after our inconsistent play this season
