Elite performance squads announced.

Taylor in again for England. Bowden, Connor, Hadley, Masi and Shaul all selected in England Knights squad.

Edit: Also a spot for James Cunningham in the Knights squad. Glad to see he's progressing even though it didn't quite work out at Hull.

not surprised about the main squad really. once bennett has a squad he's incredibly loyal to it and makes minimal changes. he's after players who make few mistakes, error free rugby is his game
The referee's indecision is final

Nah, it's just the England B team. I thought they had got rid of it, hadn't heard about them in a while.

Its not the England B team. Hence why Tomkins, Sneyd, Watts etc aren't in it despite obviously being good enough. Its supposed to be a development squad to give the next generation a taste of being involved with an international side. Bearing that in mind there are some odd selections, but the selectors obviously feel that there is more to come from the players they have picked, regardless of age.

Surprising to see Shaul there then considering how many of our fans swear up and down that he will never be good enough to play for Hull never mind England.

I'm happy for Jamie and all the lads. Could be good for their development and will give them something to work for.

Its always great to have players involved internationally whatever level. It is great learning for them. I was reading that article about Masi thinking it was a prank call earlier. It could be a really timely boost for us. We need a big performance from him tonight and he will be going out there feeling 10 foot tall after that news.
