see the hotels are cashing in ,cheapest i could get was £75 per person a night with english brekkie and that was with a group booking of 20 rooms

Got ours for £50 person with full help yourself breakfast menu. In the centre of Newcastle So I'm driving up early Saturday

hotels.com is a handy site, try looking outside, transport links are very good

Gateshead, Sunderland, Chester Le Street, Hexham, Durham is only a short train ride, should be plenty of options.

,the hotel is 6 miles out side newcastle once you put the dates in the prices shoot through the roof,i think its because i wanted 20 rooms

that is the problem with websites, it's like when you try and book 8 flights or more, they see the demand and the price rockets.

for that number of rooms I'd try going direct to a bigger local hotel somewhere.
