Also – I was wondering if you could think of any fundraising ideas or possibly any groups (sports teams, social groups, maybe your place of work) you are involved in that are looking for a charity to adopt for next year that we could contact?
Any help would be great
Thanks
Firstly, can i thank Paul M for allowing this thread to be posted.
Hi Guys,
I am looking for your help! My sister's nephew, on his 5th birthday, was diagnosed with a really rare form of cancer.
Also – I was wondering if you could think of any fundraising ideas or possibly any groups (sports teams, social groups, maybe your place of work) you are involved in that are looking for a charity to adopt for next year that we could contact?
I dont know if anybody donated to the appeal - but if you did it is much appreciated.
Well, 1 year and 1 month after being diagnosed, Charlie has finished all of the Chemotherapy, and all of the other treatments available. However, the money is needed to fly Charlie to America for treatment should he relapse. It is impossible to predict if, how, or where Charlie could relapse, but the fact is that he does stand a terribly high chance of suffering some sort of relapse within the next 5 years, with most relapsing within the first 2 years. The treatment is £300,000 and we are nearly a third of the way to that total.
Viking FM have taken over the administration of the charity, so if you do wish to donate, please visit the link below:
