TBH, I struggled slightly with Props, keep thinking there may be some I am missing!
Notable absences for me; Ellis, Rooney, Brough, Atkins, Blaymire, Obst.
We have done this before but it's always good to do it again as time passes! It's all about opinions but personally I find the omission of Ellis and Brough inexplicable!
Ellis would have to play, but so does JD for me so he moves to the wing instead of BJB.
Half backs are tough. Both great players but defense is going to be a problem. Need to think if there is a better 6 than Jeffries as I like Smith at 7.

Jeffries and Smith above Brough, sorry but neither are in the same class, Brough is the best SH we have ever had (SL) in his first spell. Ditto Ellis!! Bizarre selection mate, sorry but you've missed out two of the three finest SL players we have produced.
Ironically, Ellis makes it in one of the rugby online pages (I forget which one) all time Super League list, so we really ought to out him in ours.
Saying that he clearly hit his absolute best after leaving us.
I rate Ellis as one of my favourite players to play in a Wakefield shirt but based on how good he was at Wakefield I think we have had better centres (At the time they were at the club) in Domic and Collis, it`s just my opinion, so no spot for him there in my team, struggle to put him in the SR over Solomona or Lauititi for the same reaon, potentially might even include Tanginoa above Ellis as well. Ellis was brilliant, but a lot would favour him in one of these lists because he is a Wakefield Academy product and the fact he has gone on to have a great career which is understandable.

Would have Smith at 7 in my team all day long over Brough, again just my opinion but the way he guided us around the pitch was a lot better than any other half I have seen in the SL era, Liam Finn was probably the closest for me,but for me Smith has one of the best passing games I have ever seen and yes I include the NRL in that as well.
1- Locke 2- BJB 3- Collis 4- Tupou 5- Johnstone 6- Miller 7- Brough (first stint) 8- Fifita 9- Aiton 10- Tronc 11- Ellis 12- Solomona 13- JD I know a couple of the players didn’t play a lot of games ie Tronc and Locke but their quality was not in question. Just judging from what I saw during their time
