In a joint statement MC and CB have agreed to fight for justice in the courts. I hope a crowd funding site can now be set up by the trust so that we the fans can show our financial support.
Wakefield Council have behaved appallingly and the whole truth must now come out. Thank you MC for putting your head above the parapet and fighting for our great club, i really hope that the bullies will eventually get what they deserve.

£500k rent you have to be joking how could the club ever compete with costs like that.

I can't see in the clubs statement the £500k rental proposal just -

"The current proposal that we pay a commercial/reasonable rent (of which we have yet to see any detail or figures) for the new Community Stadium at Belle Vue is unacceptable."

Anyhow, where are we playing next season?

But the deal fell through last week when it emerged Trinity bosses had refused to agree to the Council's decision to lease the new facility and charge them an annual rent of £500,000.

Yep I seen that, but that's from the Star reporter, no mention from the club.

We have a crowd funding platform teed up. There will be more information in due course and our actions crystallise.

Inevitable really but the only way to beat bullies is to stand up to them so well done for making the stand. I can't think it will be easy but I'm with you 100% and hope justice prevails.
