| Caught most of the game today. Bullock looked extremely impressive - some great carries. He's a huge human being.
Mullen, Partington and Smith also stood out to me.
Hard to judge the performance but on paper there's a lot of depth there.

| I remember Bullock as a scrawny winger. Ganson seems to be a bit bigger but he pushed them round the field well.

| Tried my best watching it on a sneakily placed mobile phone on my desk at work. I thought Bullock and Mullen were both really impressive. I also thought Partington ran with real vigour. I got the sense both halves were trying a little too hard to impress at times.

| Bullock was very impressive today. I know the opposition wasn’t top clas but I’ve seen enough to have confidence that he’ll go well in the 1st team.

Yes, agree with all that. Mullen looks a polished operator. Really liked the look of Bullock too.

| I'd echo the thoughts on Bullock. Looked a class above today and, although the opposition wasn't necessarily top draw, they seemed to have some size about them but found him very difficult to stop. Also, Navarette played today and Bullock looked the more effective of the two, albeit only on this limited showing. Bodes well.
I also thought Kibula was at times outstanding. He has great hands and some of his short passes were sublime.
Honourable mentions to Mullen and Kilner who both carried the ball well. Kilner at near 6' 4" and 17 stone and only 19 years of age certainty has the physical tools necessary to make an impact.

| Wigan have lacked a bit of size over the years but with Bullock, Kilner & Kibula coming through that won't be an issue in the near future. Joe Brown also looks a typical modern day winger, tall & athletic.

Every time I watch Kilner I just think he looks superb but for some reason he doesn’t seem to get the same build up as kids like Byrne, Partington, Kibula, Havard etc. Maybe it’s just me but he seems to be further down the pecking order.
We’ve some superb forward talent coming through at the minute. Those kids I’ve mentioned plus Smithies, Shorrocks and McDonnell all look capable of pushing through to first team level in the next few seasons.

He does seem to be flying under the radar a little. Maybe it's just weight of numbers as you say. There seems to be a lot of forward talent coming through at the moment and maybe a few are closer to the finished article in terms of their all round game.
I have to say his performance yesterday was up there with the best of them for mine. A couple of of his runs in particular where he just kept driving through the tackle making 20 metres or more after collision were very impressive.

The one position that I have never seen him play is at standoff. Now there is a thought.

| As others have mentioned there were some strong performances from Bullock, Kibula, Mullen, Smith and Partington amongst others.
Bullock is a really exciting prospect. He's so solidly built but quick and athletic. The way he carries the ball into contact should cause plenty of problems.
We've got to get some of these players playing at a higher level regularly though. Mullen was impressive once again. I don't think he had a bad game last year and yet his playing time was sporadic. Three first team appearances spread throughout the year, a couple of games at Swinton, a few at Skolars, one or two for the reserves. That's nowhere near good enough for a young player who was impressive pretty much every time.

I think Kilner got injured last year and missed a fair chunk of the U19's season. He's definitely an exciting prospect. Reminds me a lot of Joe Greenwood - tall, athletic, powerful with long strides and a handful when he's not wrapped up properly in a tackle. I think he needs to improve his handling a bit though.
