| Does anyone know if this will happen? Seemed to be a good idea last 2 years for the quins game, and though we didnt do it for quins this year I expected it to happen with one of the other smaller teams.
It seems a sensible thing to do as the away stand now will just sit there empty for all the remaining home games bar salford, or will have 60 fans in it like cas brought in the week.
The other thing is that our average attendence is now set to fall and so could do with a boost. The remaning 4 home fixtures are all against teams with little away support, and less home fans will turn out as they are less attractive games - Without any marketing I think we will only get around 13-14k for these fixtures which will drag down our 17k average.
Why dont the club do it against bradford, which could hopefully draw a crowd similar to the huddersfield game.
If we had that, with say 17/18k on against crusaders to hopefully see us lift the league leaders shield we could try and hold out for a 17k average this season which would be a teriffic achievement for the club.

We got 18k in last year to see us lift the hub cap against Bradford without even opening the North Stand for them

If I'm right, we didn't sell the whole stand to a business but we did sell a whole load of tickets to Heinz. I think we should definitely do it again but it's finding a company that's big enough.

That was for the St Georges game last year against Quins. With the recent industrial action at Heinz I doubt the management will be in as generous a mood as they were last year. Heinz have been a close partner with Wigan rugby for years though. They sponsored the scoreboard at Central Park IIRC

| The one last year wasnt with Heinz - It was only the first year with Heinz IIRC, last year they just sold blocks to local businesses at discounted prices I think - therefore they could do it again surely?

The Club will be announcing a range of special activities ahead of the fixture and at half time in the next week to mark St George's Day.
Speaking about the sales, Chief Executive Mick Hogan said,
