I've freeze framed that play, frame by frame, and I have it on my phone as proof (I'll upload it later) he did not score that try. He knocked on. You could tell by his face he hadn't scored.

Frightening, isn't it?

Doesn't matter the RFL wanted leeds to score so just gave it, no video decision, unlike the clear Wigan tries which were checked.

Thought that as he scored it, but they didn't really show a good enough angle for me to tell properly.

when it first happened I thought that at least he'd go to the video ref. As I swear there was a daylight between player and ball.

I just think complaining about tries that shouldn't have been seems a bit silly when that try should never have been awarded. One each, all square.

Yep I agree, but at the time of posting Goulding hadn't made that error.

Just proves how incompetent Steve Ganson is. Why people believe he is the best referee in the league is beyond me.

I thought he dropped it in real time and was stunned it didn't go to the video ref.

Another flop by Ganson who must rate 3/10 for that performance.

Went to the video for two of ours yet gave that without a second thought, could have easily been dropped.

Doesn't matter so much now I suppose
