just heard that the latics away game with blackpool 14th August switched to DW because blackpools grounds not ready we play Huddersfield on 13th August so as in past situations like this we will have to switch days or grounds nothing on the Wigan rugby site to confirm this
I'm getting really fed up of our club being treated as lodgers in a supposed shared stadium, shared would suggest there's give and take on both sides.
From what I can see it seems everything goes in Latics favour when there's a fixture clash.
Fans arrange holidays around fixtures to ensure they don't miss any games and when games are switched like this it ain't fair supporters have shelled out money for tickets they can't use.
Latics should have respected our fixture has been planned for months and played their game on Monday evening ... but that would have involved giving a little. A concept which appears alien to our co-habitees at DW.

I dont see the problem really, weve moved to sunday thats all
Were second fiddle to the Latics, lets face facts. We all should know that after the 07 playoff 'debacle'

Like he said though, maybe some people have booked their holidays around the fixtures (like I did). They may have been able to seen the match live on the Friday before flying out on the Saturday, now missing the match completely due to move to Sunday.

We are lodgers - Latics now own the stadium.
It's pretty obvious why we've agreed to do this - we'll expect no problems come the play-offs and any potential fixture conflicts.
