After a very disappointing end to the Leeds game I feel slightly better knowing we couldn't of won the LLS even if we'd of won.
I actually think the LLS could of distracted us for the knockout game.

Will Connor come back in now or will Ferres keep his place?

Will Crabtree return?

Can we break Wigans home form? From what I've seen Wigans defence is very much breakable. Our attack however under the game pressure seemed abit panicky against the Rhinos.

I would put Connor back in and that has nothing to do with Ferres' performance against Leeds. Just a mark of respect for what Connor has done in the 8's.

I think we are serious underdogs and that puts alot less pressure on us. Without putting us down, we know Wigan's quality and big game experience and I think much will go down to how they start the game... And how we finish it should they not do what they can do.

We are so close to becoming a big game team. I think we'll turn the corner! COYG!

Will be going with a lot of hope that we can raise our game and cope with the big game pressure. Wigan will be hot faves and all the talk will be about a Rhinos vs. Pies final. We definitely are the huge underdogs and all will expect us to choke BUT we have shown massive improvement in the bigger games this season having narrowly lost to Wigan and Leeds in the Super 8's.
Agree that Connor should be back in - we should show some trust in those that have got us this far. We are 80 mins from a GF spot - so it don't get much better than this.
Actually think that the Leeds loss will give us an advantage in that we have learnt a hard lesson of staying focused for the full 80 - better then than next week.
Will be a great atmosphere at the pie dome - and really hope to see a good turnout from the C&G faithful to cheer on the boys. How sweet it will be to get the win and set up the biggest game I will ever have seen involving Fartown. Can we do it? - ABSOLUTELY WE CAN - COYG!!!

its a massive ask, possibly the hardest game we could have got, but it's our own fault so we live with it.
we have proven in the past we can go there and win, but we haven't done it in a knockout/play off game, that is the test.

it's simply an absolutely massive game, i admit i didn't expect us to get this far but now we are i am confident we can do it, remember 2006 and 2009?
we, the fans, can do our bit,

get to Wigan, if you have to go straight from work then do it, if you have to miss out on a couple hours sleep then do it! nights like this don't come around often so it's worth the sacrifice

I'd not put Connor back in and that's no slight on him at all, just we know Ferres and Wardle can work magic

We do need Crabtree back! The trust Anderson seemed to put with Johnson and Leeming regarding game time came across like he bottled it. Not the players.
I'd start with Leeming and have Robbo off the bench.

Thought Johnson was good when he came on, he just didn't get enough time.

Ran hard, tackled hard and found his front every time. Can't ask for much more really. We shot ourselves in the foot with the use of our substitutions against leeds though

I agree - Johnson seemed to offer more than smith- in enthusiasm too-certainly looked up for it. still don't get why we were so keen to get him.
I'm still gutted I can't get to this game!!!!

We definitely missed crabtree, let's hope he's back and considering he's been out for so long Ferres when well, Connor can cover more positions so perhaps best to keep him in reserve for the moment if we can progress. We just need to get that attack firing again as it was a couple of weeks ago.

expect to see crabtree back for the biggest game of our season.

that will be the only change. with johnson dropping out which i though was a good idea putting him last week instead of mason.

if we take our chances we can win, last time we didnt at wigan and should have been 18-0 up, last time out v leeds we didnt (robbo not putting the ball down), we shall wait and see if we can take the chances..have to do in these big games.
