All these "its suits both sides" comments are rubbish, DR only helps the SL clubs, sending out of form players, or those with a questionable attitude to championship clubs, resulting in disruption, and genuine lads missing out.
Not a fan of this at all, basically Holbrook will now pick the team.

Although i'm not a fan of DR, needs must in our current situation. The last paragraph illustrates the fairness of this arrangement.
“We had a good meeting at Saints with Mike and Justin and also Paul Wellens and Ian Talbot from the coaching staff. They have trust in us that their players will get treated and coached in the right way and they acknowledge that their players have got to earn the right to play for Leigh Centurions with their performances in training and matches.

I'm looking forward to Sunday now TBH.
Me too.
After the trauma of 'close season' I'm just grateful that we will have a team to watch. It's a bonus that we have a lot of local lads in the squad and coaching team. (team spirit and pride in the shirt, cannot be under-estimated) On paper, the main squad looks very promising, (I know - it did last season too! ) and it's now our job to get behind them. I'm looking on avoiding relegation, as a starting point, and anything better would be a bonus - especially if we play some decent rugby, along the way.
I'm not a fan of D/R either, but needs really must, this season. Also, having some of Saints' talent available, is quite exciting!

We got a decent squad to be fair and the help from the saints lads will only boost us Duffy is confident of 4th or 5th I think that would be a great achievement if we can pull it off
