| Owens and either Lovett or Larroyer to miss out if everyone fit
Backline looks very strong if all stay fit, I know he's not the n the squad but Mortimer will be pushing for a hooker or h/b slot. Forwards look like they'll match most teams, possibly a bit weak if we pick up knocks

| Not for Sunday, but I'd be tempted to play Hutchy at 13 ,and have Morty at 7 when fit ,a bit of an experiment, maybe for the home game against Fax...

Interesting and I agree it could work. With Reynolds now playing some really good rugby it would be hard for KP to replace him and or Hutchy, but that move could put Hutchison’s size to great use combined with his good hands, footwork and eye for a gap. A fit Mortimer can make a positive difference to our team. I’d love to see if Hutchison to 13 could work but do we risk altering what has been working lately.

Hutchy, has a great pair of hands,he reminds me a bit of Harry Pinner, and Dave Robinson ,both great loose forwards.

| Hutchinson looks like he would be a natural ball-playing loose - and they are rare as hens teeth!

| We, in common with a lot of teams, these days, do not employ a 'loose forward'. We prefer the 'prop' type of player there and, anyway, what would be do with Jordan Thompson, who has arguably been our most consistent player?

Alan , no doubt about Jordan Thompson, nailed on for a second row spot,I know most teams don't have a loose forward these days , my suggestion was for an experiment to see how it goes, we have Hood, Higham, and soon Morty at 9, 3 into 2 doesn't go,give Morty a chance at 7 and Hutchy a chance at 13.
You never know, taking a chance is what life's about , I realise how important games are coming up , but against Fax might a chance worth taking.

| Why mess with a team that’s winning? Isn’t that what Jukes did?
Team is getting some consistency coming to the right time of the year and people want to chop it up. We now have players playing their right & preferred positions and it shows.
Bodene & H are now playing 80 mins and it’s no coincidence we have stopped conceding as many on the edges. Bodene is getting fitter and it shows.
Matautia looks a different level at FB and causes constant problems, Thompson causes problems playing as a middle out of the loose forward position and Hoody looks to be in the form of his life.
Look how confident Dawson & Crooks look as a partnership. I believe we are a good wing, centre & middle away from being we’re we want to be.
Owens has done nothing wrong all year but SL teams will target him and Evans doesn’t look anything other than solid.
KP has made the right decision putting Larroyer into the middle because he’s a week link in the back row defensively and Lovett looks lost, completely lost all the time.

| For those travelling down tomorrow look forward to seeing you at the Broncos. Hoping for a good game although I suspect you go into it as favourites. Its a big game for both teams.
Bring your sun screen its cracking the flags down here. 26 degrees Sunday

I don't really think we are in a position to be experimenting. It's more a point of fixing what's not working. As Reffy has pointed out in a couple of posts,we lose rhythm and cohesion on the hooker interchange.
Morty for me would have to replace Higham. That's not taking anything away from Higham as the morale and confidence he's put back into team and club on his return is second to none. But I feel that position should now be Mortimers.

| No need and no point to changing the halfbacks, Mortimer on bench giving Hood a breather from the 30th minute to the 50th which is a 35 minute rest.
