This is just typical of the RFL doing whatever it can to destroy Leigh. Putting us back in the Championship is pretty much guaranteeing we lose a few games next year, when we were all set for a great winning season, big crowds at LSV, and a good cup run.
Why should Gateshead get the chance to drop a division and rebuild? Let them get stuffed at Halifax. It's just not fair. The RFL should protect its heartland clubs by letting us put 80 past London Skolars. Who wants a close match at Widnes when we could be tonking Swinton and Rochdale? The RFL are dead-set against us.
Personally I blame Richard Lewis, Arthur Thomas, Ian Millward, Allan Rowley, Darran Abram and especially Alan Platt. They faked the moon landing, you know, and they keep the Regal Trophy and the Lancashire Cup in a secure facility in Area 51 at Roswell. And I happen to know that Richard Lewis shot JFK from the Grassy Knoll. Our Steve was there and heard him talking about it afterwards.
I've always been a loyal Leyther, haven't missed a game since Jimmy Legard's debut, but I'm not going again until we get relegated.
