Firstly I've never seen so much wrestling on a rugby field . Wigan have their defensive timing just right to get away with it .

We look so very much shored up on the right side now with Hiku and Pomeroy.

I just can't wait till the day Kevin Brown comes back into the right side and can deliver a few passes to them. We may look like a balanced attacking team .

anyways always nice to beat the pies . CMON WIRE

It doesn't take much to have the best defensive performance for this season. This season our defence has been like a sieve!

I thought Joe Philbin was immense tonight not just a tackle every now and then it was tackle after Tackle, the lad has one hell of an engine on him
The Wire - It's Time To Believe

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will.
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with the twists and turns,
AS everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don't give up through the pace seems slow.
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worse,
that you must not quit.

If Sims isn't here next year we are definitely going to miss his defensive efforts, some massive hits last night.

Hiku and Pomeroy have obviously received coaching at some point in the past on how to defend an edge. Solid...in position...aware.

No we won't or speak for yourself.
However his offload game helped along with others, causing Pies some energy problems.
We were fitter than them last night. Keeping the ball moving in attack stretched them.

When he's 1st man in, more often than 3rd and the occasional 2nd... I'll agree with you too.

Are you saying Sims is a lazy defender ? I suggest you watch the game from friday again , or any other game Ash has played in the Primrose and Blue. Poor fella gets bagged by absolutely everyone who has never pulled a pair of boots on .
