This should be interesting.

For Wire, in recent memory I believe when we got a 7 tackle set a few years back against Wakefield that resulted in the match winning try that ended the game 32-30. That was pretty bad.

Well at Leeds every decision we get is wrong and is only done because the RFL is corrupt and want us to win (Read same for Wigan and Saints). On the other side of the coin smaller clubs NEVER EVER get wrong calls in their favour so won’t be able to contribute to this thread.

Our most infamous one of recent times had to be the Jordan Tansey ‘try’ at Magic Weekend 2007 vs Bradford when he followed up Sinfield’s penalty that hit the crossbar even though he was offside by at least 4 or 5mm :)

The magic game against Bradford where Jordan Tansey scored from a rebounding penalty stands out. Maybe 15m offside. Comedy gold!
"The problem when you play Leeds is that they are a huge 'confidence' side. If you get on top of them, they will cower and go away, but when they get in front their chests puff out and they start whooping as they make tackles. " (Jon Wilkin)

BRONCOS V FC at Griffin Park..... Denis Moran was chasing his own chip through on the last play of the game and was pulled back... Ganson was 2 yards away and didn't give it..... We drew that day and I decided to take Ganson off my Xmas card list.....
JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

I think I know Torontos, or at least one of them!

2016 challenge game v salford, solomona didn't even get close to grounding a finish. Ref gave try but went to VR, where Richard silverwood gave try. He blamed the bbc and having a small tv in the trailer he was in !
"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Possibly the worst decision ever recorded was when Colin Winfied ?? awarded Bradford’s winger a try. This was pre SL 1990s so no 4th official or VR but when photos were printed next day and it may also have been on Scrumdown he’d grounded it 3 feet short - yes 3 feet!

Not sure how crucial a score it was but the ref was unfit and unable to keep up with play whilst the linesman was clearly blind!!!!

This was ore Bulls so Bradford were a nowt team at the time for printers benefit. Just pure technical incompetence.

As if to prove my point a couple of fans provide examples that weren’t ones that went FOR their team as per the question being asked.
