In addition Leigh have not re-signed Eloi Pelissier.

So who will be the club's hookers as it prepares to do battle with the might of fancied Championship clubs Toronto and Toulouse?
Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2019!

Avignon for Championship in 2020, Super League in 2021!

It’s hard not to like “one trick mick”. Always gave his all and a very engaging character off the field who didn’t take drugs, beat up students or bite other players. I hope he enjoys his retirement

Regards

King James

Was brilliant for us at Wire. A key player in our successes early in Smith’s reign. Left under odd circumstances but we’ve got Clark now so not too fussed like

Leigh have the knack of recruiting well. They'll go toe to toe with big spending Toronto.

Toulouse... haha.

One of the better players in the sl era and without doubt one of the best hookers. He now moves into the coaching/community side of things at leigh.

It looks like mortimer will be first choice hooker with hood getting another chance.

His stint at Bradford was the highlight of his career.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

The hookers for Leigh will be Daniel Mortimer & Liam Hood with Jonah Cunningham as back up.
Am I Rugby Leagues Adrian Durham?

Leigh dont have a bad side at all, and with an NRL Hooker and Half back (who are young and in their prime), will do very well.

A beast of a pack and some shrewd signings still to come, I am confident of top 2 at least.

Hood is a SL class hooker on his day and even though i like Pelissier, having 4 hookers in a side resulted in an imbalance.

Lets not forget that Leigh will have the read of all Torontos plays and i cannot wait for the opener at LSV. Toronto and Toulouse will not walk the league (as our deluded friend thinks) but it will be a fantastic season, probably better then SL IMHO.
