It really gets to me when this paper can find the columns for rugby league whenever scandal hits. The normal coverage is a couple (if that) of paragraphs usually about Leeds, I guess that is where the reporter lives. At the present the Hardaker business is making the back page as well as inside coverage, It maybe cynical of me but I get the feeling that the press in general take every opportunity to put the boot into rugby league.
For sale thirty brand new suits, made in 2007 never been worn but rather tear stained.
Apply to Wigan warriors rented accommodation.

2 nil will get you a win
30 nil will get you a win
75 nil is absolute humiliation.

sadly this has generally always been the way. RL only generates serious media interest on the back of scandal
What you looking at?....Butt Head!!

It's not like this sort of thing doesn't happen in other sports, either! Generally, the miscreants seem to get lesser suspensions in those sports though!

Don’t buy the paper, i don’t know who in their right mind does, all of their content is utter drivel anyway.

Other than a few racist grannies who still wish that Diana was here, who really gives two shiney sheeites what the Daily Express thinks?
I wish everyone would read bramleyrhino's post two or three times just to get it through some thick skulls

Mr bramleyrhino speaks a lot of sense.

And yet, what is the most popular topic on the front page of the VT?

.....we fans seem more interested in discussing it than say, The World Cup that starts in a few weeks....so why lambast the comic that the Express is for replicating what is on these very forums?

Papers always go for controversy, isn't just our sport. The amount of coverage the Russian doping in athletics over actual action and Maria Sharapova has dominated talk in women's tennis, women's football probably hasn't had as much spotlight as they did for the recent England manager sacking. Controversy sells more than match reports or good news stories.
