I know of James Keinhorst (Leeds, centre)
Thomas Johnstone (Wakefield, wing), born in Germany.

I suspect that North Queensland's star winger Kyle Feldt has German ancestry. If so, he, Keinhorst and Johnstone would make up most of a dream three quarter line.

Does anyone know of any other German born or ancestry players at the level of Super League, Championship, League One, NRL, NSW Cup, or QLD Cup?

James Keinhorst and Thomas Johnstone.

Have you lost interest in your silly game?

However many is too many. We need to take back control of our teams from these bureaucrats.

Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

I think Thomas Johnathanstone might be the full version.

Fully aware that he has been dead for a long time and hasn't played for 60 years but as i am an enthusiast of rugby league history, the great Frenchman Puig Aubert was actually born in Germany.

I don't regard rugby league as a silly game. You should get out and watch a few games while you still have your eyesight.

Having a good German team available would boost the credibility of a future World Cup.

I meant your silly game of using full names. But you knew that, didn't you?

Andy Hoggins of Oxford is a current German international. Believe he was born there.

I believe Angela Merkel played a couple of times for Batley in her pre-chancellor days.
"The problem when you play Leeds is that they are a huge 'confidence' side. If you get on top of them, they will cower and go away, but when they get in front their chests puff out and they start whooping as they make tackles. " (Jon Wilkin)
