Apologies - topic should be JY HITCHCOX . Automatic spell checker strikes again.
Scored 4 tries today against Hull KR. And Powell commented after the match that
" He knows he won't be with us next year but he's been phenomenal....."
Given his form at Cas I'm sure there will be plenty of clubs interested.I'd be surprised (but very happy ) if the rumours that he would be coming to us turn out to be true.

Seems a few journos now saying he's coming to us. Would be a brilliant signing.

Even if he does sign though, doesn't mean he'll definitely be a bulls player. Not like we've signed an unwnated SL before, who then suddenly starts having form of his life, and the SL club decide they do actually want him. That'll never happen...

Decent signing if it comes to pass.

That was going to be a loan though. I get the impression this would be a permanent signing.
It's not the first area of our squad I'd look to strengthen but he's definitely an improvement on what we have.

I hope we've got some centres lined up...

Hitchcox can play centre, pretty good playing centre too, maybe this is where he will slot in at Bulls.

I think that Ethan Ryan will be a cracking centre when he 'fills out' a bit. He's already got good hands and knows when to pass and when to hold better than the current centres, though I confess that's maybe two or three years down the track.

Sure he played centre throughout his academy days. Definitely good enough defensively too

Shhh, don't say that too loudly - we don't want Lauaki hearing about and saying he'll play just for the food..

Talking about centres, have we given up on on Ross Oakes? :?:

Seemed like a very good 'wingers centre', but just doesn't seem to be getting a sniff this season
