If we were signing just for goal kicking we would go and sign someone like Sneyd for example (shudders).

Sign the best player you can for the position is always the way.

Looking around there are not that many great kickers who are not very much fixtures at the club they are at and would be un-signable.

Perhaps what we need is to bring in someone on a temporary basis as a goal kicking coach to work with payers we have to try and improve someone say like Smith (although Briers was a regualr kicker if I recall correctly so maybe there already is someone there.....)

If I was a younger player at Wigan (or any club really) I would be looking at taking up and practicing goal kicking as a way of making myself more likely to be selected as it is another useful skill to have.

Absolute class from Harry Smith!

I take back what I said as it was outstanding again on Friday and made the game more comfortable than what it could have been had he missed.

Be interesting to know how much of an influence Lee Briers has had on this.

I believe he's up around the 80% mark, outstanding considering how many tries we score out wide
