Exactly what I thought going in to the game
He needed a rest agree
However I'm not sure we'd have beat widnes had he not being playing

He gives his all every game and I can imagine he wants to play every game, wether carrying a knock or tired.We lost against London but, Dave was head and shoulders our best player, certain players decided to give it a go for the last 10 minutes and were suddenly MOM candidates,which only papered over the cracks, it’s a team game and some need telling that at times. He must be so frustrated putting 110% in when others at times should be doing better, I know I am and I’m only watching.

He's just posted on his instagram feed a picture of the departure boards at Manchester Airport and the words "see ya" and a waving hand. Might not be for him, I suppose, but wonder if he's gone home to recuperate.

I mentioned it on Saints topic earlier and said he could have been waving someone off.
