Being played in Newcastle, yes it's all bent as usual and not an even playing field.Widnes don't have the inconvenience of travel to Canada this season.

"All teams are equal, but some are more equal than others", to paraphrase the pigs, in Orwell's Animal Farm.
However, Widnes could well suffer the inconvenience of playing several more matches than Toronto, if they enjoy good cup runs in the Challenge Cup and 1895 Cup - competitions which Toronto chose not to enter, or were not invited to enter!

Same sport, different rules. It's all getting farcical and makes you wonder if it's worth following the game at times. The Championship should be such a fantastic league this season but it's skewed up so much it's unreal. But some clubs voted for it so hey-ho, moan over. Lol!
Hear All, See All, Say Nowt. Eat All, Sup All, Pay Nowt. And if Tha ever does Owt for Nowt, Allus do it for Thissen.

Was it the convenience of playing in Lahndahn that tipped you into the top four last year ?
Hope so, as it looks like our away game against Toronto will be in Lahndahn. The Belgrade (not in Russia, as an geographically-challenged ex-referee suggested to me) fixture looks unlikely.

Hardly, we got stuffed down there, not travelling has to help in other ways though. Why Toronto picked London to play us is another matter. Same game, different rules.

It's the game after you come back that's the problem.
