apparently a fan asked him if he was signing with giants again and he said yes... who knows.

mamo was offered a deal with sydney roosters at the start of this season to join them as a back up winger but he turned them down because he wanted to play full back! but now after a few games on the wing/centre he realises hes not a full back so dont know what hes doing now

well -far as I`m concerned - he and clubs coaching staff want to get it sorted as hes got lots going for him!---pace !
talk to Alex Murphy -(who knows a little bit about RL ) and his view is "theres no substitute for pace"

You aint got a chance of tackling a speedy winger unless you can catch him - and they`ll not tackle someone they can`t catch!
Yes he has weaknesses - so had Greg Eden but Cas used what he had to the max !
There are the wingers like Cooper / Carney /Jerry / Vainokolo etc - hard to tackle and power and strength .........and those like Henderson / Burgess / Wicks with pace !
The two are so different but the latter stand a chance of tackling another similar player - the former not so cos they`d many times theyd be left behind !
The lad has many attributes and would hate to see another club gain from our loss
Its up to us if we want to keep him and develop his natural talent , and use his flair to the full IMO Him and Jerry - totally different styles but giving us options on the flanks
Sometimes I get the feeling we`re too quick to write off youngsters and players who see things "off the cuff"
From my experience the stand out players develop in different ways -and at different stages in their careers - and have to be handled differently by coaches to get the best out of them (Connor ?) Personally I hope the new fella can do that - rather than discard players who then come back and haunt us!

Pace isn’t enough by itself for me. If he doesn’t resign- he will go back to aus- not come back to haunt us. By keeping him we are keeping out players like the senior twins- who are ones of our own.

Well his cut out pass for the first try on Friday was pretty good to me.

Whilst playing youth was a good thing they find it difficult to back up I agree with your sentiment but maybe a year on with appearances as and when it’s what Leeds, Wigan and St Helens do and they ain’t done too bad but they do tend to generally get good overseas players too...

Need to get him following kicks and supporting like he did when he first arrived. As for his tackling if you watch him he will most of the time tackle around the legs like a fullback in last line of defence 1 on 1 style. This works well and i've seen him stop even really big fellas dead with this. Where he lacks is when he tries to tackle upper body in the two man tackle style and gets that technique wrong, leading to him getting brushed off. He just needs to adapt his tackling style to playing on the flanks not at fullback and i think he will be fine. He's not like Gaskell who just gets physically dominated and brushed aside. I do think he has lots to offer if we use him right, that's going to be down to woolford.

And yet Gaskell has a better tackle rate than (amongst others) brough, Rankin, turner AND Murphy....some people see what the want to see go figure............
