Best post you've ever made - don't get the negativity at all. Without getting carried away this season has been a huge step in the right direction.
This season was well and truly beyond anyone's most optimistic prediction and everyone should be very happy with that.
However, even with a crocked squad, to finish the season with so many losses almost eradicates the superb first part of the season, especially with the 3 x 8 format, which has been bloody awful for Trinity and it's fans.
Always leave people wanting more, is a decent way to run any kind of entertainment but, we have all been desperate for the season to end.
There have been some massive pluses this year.
Making the top 8, cup semi final and blooding so many youngsters (and the incredible rise in status of Johnstone & Jowitt).
However, the harsh reality is that we will be the bookies favourites for the wooden spoon next season and persuading the tight fisted, apathetic Wakefield public to part with £250 for season tickets at a level to boost our recruitment (to a level that can see us back competing for the top 8 ) will require a modern day miracle.
So yes, there is certainly a huge amount of apathy.
