That's a shame for the lad and a whole in the team.
He's easily our best running forward.
Kirmond and Tupou need to step up.

I'm certain both of those boys will, it's a shame about Ashurst but we do have two hugely competitive players in Kirmond and Tupou who between them may just have a few big games left in their ageing frames.

Fingers crossed - no sane person would back us to win but you can but try to confound the odds.

It's going to be a big call either way, and if he does play it will be a major boost for us.

If we are to win, following that, I would wrap him up in cotton wool though, between the semi and the final. Any major blow on it could worsen it, and make the proper recovery time longer. I may be tempted to do the same with Sio, to give his injury some proper healing time.

Still, I think a big shift will be needed by the older heads
