Inherit a good squad at Saints?

Did shockingly at Wigan. Took Cas from a side seconds from Wembley, 9th in the league last 2 seasons, to the worst Cas side i've consistently ever seen...

It's great isn't it....he can't be held accountable for results behind a crap squad at Cas....but when he is gift wrapped a squad full of internationals he's a great coach. C'mon mate a coach proves them self when the chips are down...not when everything is so much in their favor they couldn't possible fail.

No, not with Basil as coach. Any other time we would and have done when it's been required won the NL Grand final.

Exactly, most coaches would have won trophies with what he had at saints. You dont have to be a good poker player to win when your dealt a full house, to win with a poor hand shows that your good.
