It was released in 1960/1....I was lucky to be given a copy as a present from someone who got it off eBay!

Copies regularly turn up on ebay and have been snapped up for as little as £17! :lol:
I have seen others end up way above this price too.

oddly Iwas reading Niel Fox's autobiography yesterday and I was prompted to dig out my copy of Dreadnoughts and put it on the bookeshelf alongside the centenary book...

it is indeed..... excellent.

The Dreadnought was the first non wooden battleship. They were indestructable in comparison to their timber counterparts - hence the name and the reputation.
