| Ey up lads. Agree with a lot of the above, my thoughts exactly. We're deffo a bit toothless up top at the moment at this level, very worried what we look like without Bogle, we're very thin in the FB areas... no reason why they shouldn't have sorted that by now.. there's plenty of good quality ones around which can push Bogle and Gudmundsson for not a lot of ££. Justin would fit the bill nicely for me.. or even Tanganga
As it stands the attack is weaker than it was in the Championship imo which is a concern (no Solomon, no Joseph, no Bamford).. even if someone in by this weekend, which there's no sign at all there will be.. not even a sniff of a rumour.. (though i do wonder after the Paixao debacle whether the 49ers will now work in ultra darkness), they won't be settled in and fit for Everton at home.. can see that being a draw. Everton starting to make some decent moves in the market too.. Dewsbury Hall on his way (cracking player) and Dibling could be next but Southampton want silly money, still, he's a cracking young prospect though.
Who they bring in up top will go a long way in deciding our fate this season... need to get it right.

| Mate of mine was up North and got talking to some Toon fans. They were all saying how glad they were that Longstaff had left the club. Fwiw I actually thought it was a good signing but they all season ticket holders thought otherwise. Let`s hope he kicks on with us. Agree Dewsbury Hall is a very good signing but don`t think we would pay that amount of money for him unfortunately.

| I know a few Newcastle fans who rate Longstaff highly, Has his limits but they really rate him. I think majority of their fans rated him but there's a section who didn't, especially when they got used to a midfield of Tonali, Joelinton and Guimares... (what a midfield 3 that is btw!!). I think he's a very shrewd one for us, exactly what we need and was cheap considering his CV.

| Don`t get me wrong mate. I was happy we signed him and at a very good price. We need players with his experience of the PL for sure.

| think all the signings have been sensible. with regards to forward players I can't see us getting Muniz.time to move on from him.
