He said it as a one liner when asked about it.
I wouldn't have said it but he clearly didn't 'announce' it.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

Should it happen. That’s acknowledging a possibility and trying to spin a positive.

That does not mean the club won’t fight to stay up (which I believe they also said).

It's obvious they're catchable. Just how are you expecting us to catch them? We'd struggle to post 6 league points playing Championship teams.

The interview with MC was a car crash however you sugarcoat it.
The penny now seems to have dropped.

The only thing wrong with the interview, is being naive enough to believe the haters would change their mind by sharing some information.

For me Carter's major flaw has always been sharing too much. It should be a good thing, but some are determined to make it bad.
No other director/CEO at any other club shares as much about tge club as he does, yet he gets criticised every time he tries to keep fans up to date.

Cas are trying to do a similar thing. They have simply said, we have 2 people interested, be patient.

Yet Carter from day one has tried to share everything he can, which is in my opinion a great thing to do for fans of a club. Sometimes he can't share everything, whether its a potential signing or players being courted by other teams or deals with players or directors. He doesn't share that, nor should he, but get called a lier if someone has a snippet of info to share.

Sent from my steam-powered Sinclair ZX81.

Anyone else heard the rumour that Cas' proposed re-development has allegedly run into more problems ??

Just waiting for.outcome of pp for Axiom. Money is there and waiting for immediate release. Also another possible s106 from one of the potential new owners. Unless someone knowns the pp will be turned down it's all rubbish.
