Total nonsense, you have been saying Griffin was rubbish since he signed, when up until his injury at Saints in the Cup he was an excellent player for Hull. Since that injury he hadn't been the same player.
As for Sutcliffe, are you saying that every single player released early and gone to another club has been a poor signing, look at Litten, how would you feel about signing Longstaff, which would be exactly the same?
Griffin has had one good season in three and that was mostly just making a metres out of backfield.
Never been a prolific try scorer neither a centre who made tries for his winger
His defence has always been poor, limited handling ability and always had a brain fart in him.
Griffin is the same player since his injury but two yards slower in pace. His limitations have been further highlighted by his poor attitude and lazy play.
My point about Sutcliffe is that Smith is quickly turning Leeds around yet sees no future there for Sutcliffe even though he has a year left on his contract and has let him go without a fee.
This is a Hodgson signing and i would trust the judgment of Smith over Hodgson anytime given the poor recruitment we have seen by Hodgson
If we did that with Connor then the club would quite rightly want a fee.
I have said several times even though he is on the light side we should if possible sign Longstaff but Warrington are commanding a fee which adds to my point about Sutcliffe. If you see value then you want a fee.
I am not saying he is poor,i just think if we are looking for a starting centre we should be aiming higher.
