Anyone with any knowledge of these forums or the opinions of other fans would know that nobody has ever doubted Millers skills.
What they have doubted is his consistency, which imho hasn’t been there in recent seasons.
The other doubt is his ability to run a game. This is more subjective and open to debate. It’s hard to quantify because much depends on the efforts of the rest of the team which has been sketchy at best.
Truth is if there were no deficiencies in his game he wouldn’t still be with us. We might be able to hang onto big Dave and for now TJ but a top class half, nah.
Miller has been a fantastic signing for us after a quite shaky start, but without wanting to be disrespectful, he’s at a club and a level where he belongs.
On the plus side, I do believe Miller will only get better, has the hint of a late developer about him. So the best may be yet to come.
