He's not irreplaceable but I like him so would not want to see him leave.

Solid performer and did us proud during some tough times last year, not irreplaceable as Poppy has said but I was starting to like the look of our forwards, almost youthful with a enough experience in there to take us forward.

What I fear is the plan will be to let George go to KR and we'll replace him with Romain Navarrete on a permanent deal.

A lot of players seem very happy at BV, more than most clubs it seems but we can't expect all of them to settle. Most likely money and he can't be blamed for that.

If his contract is up then inevitably the one we put forward to him most likely won't have been as generous in the current circumstances. £300k hole in finances for every club next year according the reports regarding TV money.

We'll see a lot of this generally across the sport and also a lot of the guys from down under having contracts terminated by mutual consent etc.

Players come and go. I like King but if his heart isn't at Wakefield then it's better he goes and frees a place up.
