Stephen Kearney has said they are very close to securing a loan signing, Seeing as it's been rumoured BMM is that player do you think there is any truth in it?
If yes, unless we have another player lined up it would seem a very strange move by us in my oppinion.
What do you think would be the reason we would let him go?
To be fair it might not be BMM but there are alot of rumours it is.

With no date set yet for the return of our league, then it makes sense to loan BMM out?

Keeps him match fit and also a tidy fee for his services.

Canterbury want Luke Thompson ASAP as well. That along with our awful start would make it very hard for us if the season ever gets going again.

keep him fit, possibly, increased chance of him getting injured and losing him, definitely.

Would a club with its head screwed on, have all possible outcomes written into a legally binding agreement, with regards to fees and compensations?

Yeah i can't see that happening at all, it would be a bad move by you guys but your not stupid enough to do that.

It depends when the Super League contracts will cover up to I guess? If it's 31/10 or 01/11 (Why pay someone for long after the season ends), it's likely he could be leaving mid-season if the league is extended until after Christmas as is planned. Same would apply to all out of contract players, including BMM I guess?

If anything, it might end up that the Super League clubs have to pay their NRL clubs in order to finish the season with those players.

It is a very strange situation. Until we get some kind of restart and end position sorted out there are a number of hurdles to consider without really being in a position to agree solutions.

Well New Zealand have loaned Poasa Faamausili from Sydney roosters so looks like BMM was just a rumour
