Of course they are not. But in this day and age, I'm struggling to see why Ben would want to hold that information back? It'll soon be public knowledge anyway as people talk and it's always better to talk about things and set the scene yourself?

2: Why would it!
3: What's it got to do with you!
4: Maybe he doesn't want to 'set a scene', whatever the hell that means, or perhaps he doesn't think it's 'better', not everyone wishes to live their entire life through social media.

ever thought that it may be personal and he may not want anyone to know, not all time off is an injury in sport

Why should it? I fully respect his right to privacy on this, but it's definitely an unusual step to take these days. Unfortunately given the nature of the world today it's already being discussed and there is no control over the truth in that.

Does it really matter what the condition is? He want's to keep it private for the time being. He could be looking to identify as a woman and register for the Wakefield Women's side and it wouldn't be of anyone's business here until he decides whether or not to put it in the public domain

BTW - It was reported in the daily paper this morning that he has blood clots on his lungs.

It means nothing in this day and age unfortunately. It just seemed an odd thing to do, given I was already aware of it when it was announced and I'm by now means in the know at all, just a fan in Warrington. At kids rugby training I was at at the weekend this was being talked about, will he be returning, how serious it is etc. Now it seems the rascals in the press have ignored his request for privacy as well so it's lasted less than a week. Unfortunately that's the world we live in.
